  • Pink tongue: The tongue is the most neglected part of the mouth regarding oral care routine. Therefore, cleaning your tongue to remove all the bacteria and food build-up is vital. And if you have a clean pink tongue, you have good oral hygiene.
  • No sensitivity: Having sensitive sensations when you eat something hot or cold means you have sensitive teeth and gums. But if you feel no to less sensitivity in your teeth after you eat something extremely hot or cold, that means your oral health is on track. 
  • No bleeding from the gums: If you don’t notice any bleeding or pain in your gums while brushing your teeth, it means that you are following a good oral care routine and your gums are very healthy. 
  • Less plaque build-up: Plaque build-up on your gum line is an indicator of bad oral health, but if you do not have a yellow plaque build-up around your gum line and teeth, you have a healthy oral care routine, and there are fewer chances of tooth decay.
  • No cavities: Cavities are yet another sign of poor oral hygiene. But if you follow a proper dental care routine, you are less likely to have cavities and oral issues like tooth decay. And if you notice no such infections and tooth decay, your oral hygiene is on the bright side, and you are taking good care of your mouth.
